Mr Mandla Hlela

Mr Mandla Hlela is a senior project manager. His professional life started in the sugarcane farming industry as a medium scale farmer and later joined the Organic Farms Group as a project manager working with developing farmers between KwaZulu Natal and the Eastern Cape. Mr Hlela joined the Agribusiness Development Agency working on developing and commercialising emerging black farmers. He brings vast experience from both the private sector and government. He is passionate about the development and commercialisation of emerging farmers. His career in the agribusiness development sector started when he pursued an Agricultural qualification from the Mangosuthu University of Technology and later with South African Sugarcane Research Institute and the University of South Africa.
