 Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have completed matric.
  • A relevant Accounting Degree or National Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • A valid driver’s license.

  • Knowledge of relevant legal prescripts.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Receiving payment vouchers and preparing payment schedule for processing to banking system.
  • Capturing invoices accurately on FINANCIAL SYSTEM to update ledger accounts.
  • Verify accuracy of payments information against claimant files.
  • Attend to all payment queries from claimants or suppliers by ensuring that all invoices are valid tax invoices and comply with relevant finance payment policy.
  • Updating of invoice register and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure that suppliers are paid within 30 days of receipt of
  • Processing monthly transactions on FINANCIAL SYSTEM such as invoices and journals
  • Stamp, scan and file all-payment vouchers after payment run according to the agreed protocols.
  • Receiving, checking and processing of Travel & Subsistence allowance on the payment system.
  • Preparing monthly fleet reconciliation report.
  • Sending proof of payment to the relevant
  • Updating commitment register and suppliers’ contracts register.
  • Fixed Asset Management (ensuring that fixed assets register is updated, processing acquisition of new assets on FINANCIAL SYSTEM and updating disposals of assets on Financial System, performing physical assets verification).
  • Administering petty cash daily and preparing of petty cash journal.
  • Identifying and updating a register of Fruitless and Wasteful
  • Preparing Invoices evidence report and submitting to PM&E for drafting of Annual Performance
  • Financial administration.
  • Supporting internal and external audits.
  • Understanding administrative and operating policies and procedures.
  • Adhoc duties required by the incumbent’s supervisor.
